Ashleys Hat

Hi meet my new friend Ashley. He is my friends grandson. When I saw this pattern i thought of Ashley because he plays with pirate boats and more and always has a smile.
We had our Knit In today with 11 ladies and a lot of different knitting projects plus talk of starting some beading knitting which sounds like a lot of fun. Guess what now we have to make another field trip for beads and maybe more yarn and whatever else we can't do without.
We are also working on our charity projects which is going real good.
We also got a new meeting place at The Georgian Place. Happy Knitting and take care.

Afterwards three ladies had games and prizes which we played. And then we exchanged gifts and had show and tell of our gifts. A good time was had by all which we always do at our get togethers.
I finished my fingerless gloves and started another pair. Also finished my Pillow which I hope to have a picture the next time.I also finished my lacey cowl. Now my next project is my socks plus a few new surprises. The weather is bad so I get more knitting done, Happy Knitting to all.

Eyelet Hats

Hi, Everybody hope you all had a nice Christmas and are getting ready for a Happy New Year. Its hard to believe another year has passed so quickly. Have you ever thought of how many projects you got done in the pass year and how many you are planning on doing this year ? Think about it sometime.! ! That would be interesting to take a poll sometime. I am working on fingerless gloves and a few different cowls now for the rest of the winter. With another snow storm coming I guess we will all get a lot of Knitting done again. These are my hats I did for Christmas Presents. Now I have a request for a Afghan from my granddaughter because she outgrow her other one. So there is a project to start the new year out and many more to follow I"m sure ! ! Since the weather has been bad I got a few new projects going like 2 pair of socks, a pair of fingerless gloves and a skull hat for a boy and a baby blanklet. We do get a lot of knitting done when we can't run right ! ! plus it is time to get the baking done for Christmas. I baked my FruitCakes last week plus dropped raison and nut cookies and going to do Sandtarts tomorrow. We are getting another storm this week so that means a lot more happy KNITTING.
