Hi I am SammyJo

I made this doll 20 some years ago and knit her more than a dozen outfits

for my granddaugther to play with and now she is going to graduate in May from college.My how time flys. I started a shawl in Victorian Lace and putting beads on it. We took a trip on wednesday to Irwin to the Bead Store and what a trip it was. I never saw so many Beads and I got my share for a lot of projects. We also stopped at the Bo-Peep in Ligonier and she has a lot of different yarn and patterns worked up. And when we got home a storm was behind us and what a storm it turned out to be. I also have on the needles 2 pair of socks,a lace chemo hat,and two scarfs and a baby sweater and blanket. We have Knit In tomorrow and I hope to get some knitting done while we visit and check the projects the other ladies are working on..Hope the weather soon warms UP.Happy Knitting

Ashleys Hat

Hi meet my new friend Ashley. He is my friends grandson. When I saw this pattern i thought of Ashley because he plays with pirate boats and more and always has a smile.

We had our Knit In today with 11 ladies and a lot of different knitting projects plus talk of starting some beading knitting which sounds like a lot of fun. Guess what now we have to make another field trip for beads and maybe more yarn and whatever else we can't do without.

We are also working on our charity projects which is going real good.

We also got a new meeting place at The Georgian Place. Happy Knitting and take care.

Eyelet Hats

Two more projects done. The blue one for my granddaugther and the purple one for me. Now I am into making fingerless gloves they are a fun thing to do. Am on my second pair gave the first pair to my other granddaugther. We had Knit in today at Vickies and she had everything red for Valentines Day.A good time was had by all and we all had our projects with us to work on . Of course the weather was cold and then it started to snow and rain so it was time to head for home. I hope it gets warmer over the next weekend like they said.
Are Knitting Guild meet Thursday night at our new meeting place and it was very nice .The Georgian Place. Vickie showed us how to knit with beads because some of the Ladies are starting some new projects. I found it very interesting and plan on doing a shawl with beads. We also are making laprobes,Caps for kids and Birthright and hats for cancer patients. We are a small group but get a lot done and have a good time doing it Happy Knitting to all

My Teddy Bear Friends & sweaters

Our Guild had a belated Christmas Party last week since we don't meet in Dec. The weather was;t the greatest but we still had a good turn out with 17 members there and three ladies who couldn't make it but then we had a good meal at Crazy Alices . Afterwards three ladies had games and prizes which we played. And then we exchanged gifts and had show and tell of our gifts. A good time was had by all which we always do at our get togethers.

I finished my fingerless gloves and started another pair. Also finished my Pillow which I hope to have a picture the next time.I also finished my lacey cowl. Now my next project is my socks plus a few new surprises. The weather is bad so I get more knitting done, Happy Knitting to all.

Norm the Goat,

Remember Norm the goat well he went to the Farm Show last week and won first place in his class. He also put on a show for everybody with all his energy but everybody had a good time

He was the arnyest goat that the girls ever had but we sure enjoyed him and now we miss him.But next year they will get another one for the Fair. Hope everybody is dig out of the snow and waiting for the next snow storm because we have another 6 weeks or more of winter.

Happy New Year

HI everybody just wanted to wish everybody a Happy New Year and share with you the mums I found at Walmarts . They are yellow with a red trim around the edge. They sure are different.
